Today is Chapel Day at school and Parent/student lunch day. However we don’t participate in the parent/student lunch because we do it every day at home!
Today’s morning activity was vertical lines. Isabel began working on this after she arrived in class. I didn’t get to see it until we got home and I told her that I really liked it. A great autumn looking picture with orange, red, and yellow. Great job Isabel!
More “Ss” practice. She did a great job coloring each of the pictures and the sandwich is awesome!

High-frequency word usage of “Aa” book.
As I mentioned earlier today was Chapel. Isabel said that they sang a lot of songs, some of which she hadn’t heard before. They sang “The Cry of My Heart” which they have sung before. Today a special male music teacher was there today. He had a guitar and sang several songs using his guitar. Isabel said that all the songs that they sang made her heart joyful.
Isabel said that when they went into Chapel it was cloudy but when Chapel was over the sun was out and she didn’t feel the rain dripping on her nose!
The above picture is her apple stamp painting from Johnny Appleseed day on Friday. She was able to bring it home today.
