Tie Dyed

On Wednesday, I took Isabel and her friend Ms. M to the local craft store to participate in a class. We purchased the class (along with another) for Ms. M’s birthday.

Yesterday’s class the girls made tie dyed shirts. Today we got to rinse, wash and set the dye to the 2 shirts that Isabel made during her class (no photos of Ms. M’s).

The first shirt to set is good to wear!
Looks a little faded, maybe the lighting.

Shirt 2 is the shirt from the top photo, that was wrapped in a circle.
The girls had a really fun time and I’m glad they had the day together to create some memories.

Craft Class: Candle Holder

Today was Isabel’s first craft class for the week.

There are actually only 2 classes this week and then 2 more classes later in the month. So keep checking back I’ll post the crafts as they come.

Ms. M and Isabel with their candle holders.

Each side is different for Ms. M. While Isabel only did 3 sides of her holder.

Ms. M made a face on one side while Isabel made a star on one side.
So cute.

Technical Diffuculties

Due to some technical difficulties with our old server, Gino had to move our family blog to a new server. Thus creating a few technical bumps in the road with updating the blog on my desktop computer.

Don’t worry, hopefully soon we will have the issues worked out and I will be back at. When that happens watch out, because I have a whole month of blogging to add. So check back and be ready!

Until then…

Back At Home

We are back home after our Thanksgiving vacation to Utah. We arrived on Tuesday evening, December 2nd, around 7 p.m.

We had a fantastic time seeing family, being in warmer temperatures and relaxing. Always good for the soul to see all those you love the most.

I will be posting photos and blogging from the trip over the next week. I hope to have it finished by then. Bare with me as I try to get back in the groove of things.
