Today was a good day in the classroom. Isabel was a roll! We got all our work completed, even the extra work from yesterday!
In the classroom:
We started our morning with our daily Bible reading, 2 Kings 18:3-7 & 17-36 and 1 Corinthians 2. Our Bible reading actually tied in with our new book that we got from the library yesterday.
We started this great book today.
It mentions the lost tribes of Israel and some other fascinating information!
Spelling test from today was 100%!

Our big new math problems were the 5 math properties.
A little tough figuring out but after today, she should have them mostly understood.
This example from the internet gives great examples of the math properties.
I’ve also been giving her a “five-minute multiplication frenzy” test. She gets 5 minutes to fill in the multiplication facts. We’ve been doing this about a week now and her knowledge of them has really improved! Thank you “Math-Drills.com” for the great worksheets in math!
She almost got finished!
So close, we’ll do it again tomorrow and see if she can get them all correct.
I keep telling her I don’t care if she finishes, I want them correct THEN we can work on finishing and filling the chart.
