Today went by so fast that I can’t believe it’s evening and it’s bedtime!
It was a day of writing and we used every minute of it! We did take a brisk walk around the neighborhood to get our thoughts together and get the brain “juices” flowing. It helped, she was more focused and I got my heart rate going. It was a great morning for a walk.
In the classroom:
Today’s assignment was for Isabel to write a paper about the “Constitution”.
Page 1 from her paper about the Constitution.
Page 2.
She had 3 Bible lessons to complete today from our Bible reading.
Paul goes to King Agrippa.
This one she colored the next 2 she didn’t want to.
Ravens feed Elijah.
Elijah helps a widow.
We also fit in our daily spelling test.
The one word she missed, we were shocked because she heard me use it in a sentence. She was making a joke about having 2 “beards” while she was writing the word and got it wrong. Guess she got to caught up in her joke to realize she spelled it wrong.
While she was working on assignment, I was looking at next years curriculum for 4th grade. I’m exciting about the books she’ll be reading during the year. She’ll be excited about all the science that’s included. It’s going to be another awesome year of reading and expanding our minds that God has given us. Looking forward to 2015-2016 and 4th grade!
