Doing Great

We switched Daisy’s dog food last month after we got back from Oregon.

I had actually been thinking about doing it for quite some time and was researching dog food’s online. But went ahead with the switch after a HUGE recall with her old brand of food. Talk about some scary stuff!

After about a week of her being ill due to me switching the food to fast, she is back to her old self and has been doing great on her new grain-free chicken and sweet potato.

I love her salt-speckled rust.

Second Grade: Day 11

Today is Wednesday and it’s Chapel and library day.

Isabel didn’t say anything about her day other than they had a fire drill.

Chapel was given by Principle Mrs. B and was a lesson from James 1:19.

My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry…

With the help of several students Principle Mrs. B was able to demonstrate “quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry.”

She forgot her homework folder and the whole day was forgotten as well.

2013-09-18 035_edited-1Even though she forgot her homework. She still did work (she wasn’t happy about that!). She wrote out her Bible verse for the week and worked on math. Hopefully tomorrow is better and she remembers her items. Learned the important “R” lesson today about RESPONSIBILITY!

She brought her folder home on Thursday so I was able to add a few things for today…

They work on these and then grade them together as a class when they are all finished.

Mrs. “Noza” is ready for school to begin!

Tomorrow is my first day back to work! We have 19 kids in the a.m. class and 13 in the p.m. class. We have 2 sets of girl twins and 1 set of quads! Looking forward to this new year and all the learning that’s in store!
