Last night Isabel and I made made our own homemade spaghetti sauce. It was good but had to much onion for me but it’s a start and I can tweak it for next time.

This is HUGE since I don’t cook.

Happy Anniversary!

With Resurrection Sunday tomorrow, Isabel dyed eggs with a little help from Mommy and Daddy.

We used a gel dye that dissolves in water and it didn’t work as well as the liquid dye.

A few got a rubber band treatment.

Tomorrow we’ll make deviled eggs with a few of these.

Even though it’s a no school day, Isabel has a lot of work to do!
She has piano lessons, computer math, school homework from yesterday and reading to do.

I’m so proud of how she got up and went right to work this morning tackling all the work that needed to be done. Just after lunch time she had all her work completed for the day!

So she invited Bella Bear to play some video games…

Today is Christmas!

No one knows for sure the exact date of Jesus’ birth but we celebrate it each year on this day.

We started our morning with thankfulness and buttermilk pancakes for breakfast. Now it’s time to gather around our tree… before Isabel explodes with excitement!

We finally got our Christmas tree up and decorated.

We had started last weekend but ran out of time and with work and school activities going on throughout the week we didn’t get it finished then either. So we spent the afternoon getting it finished up.

Compared to last year’s tree, this one is about 2 feet taller and a tiny bit wider.

Our tree has been trimmed!
