Caught Her Fancy

A few days ago, I gave Isabel a quick simple lesson on how our simple point and shot camera works. What buttons to push to take a photo. How she can then see the photo on the screen and how to get the camera back to photo taking mode. I kept the camera on auto and turned the flash off and then handed it over to her…

At first she didn’t seem to want to take photos but after a few minutes she took off and started clicking away at everything that caught her fancy. Enjoy!
(Keep in mind the camera isn’t the best at taking photos in low light. They come out fuzzy.)

The very first photo she takes…her thin crust homemade pepperoni and sausage pizza in the oven! Ha-ha!

This is a boundless, wordless book/puzzle from school.

Sight word flash cards. This photo and the one above are great shots, nice and clear!

Phonics alphabet box. A bit blurry.

Pattern practice paper. A bit blurry too.

Our arts and craft tablecloth. This one is great too, when it’s enlarged you can actually see dog hair and tiny dust particles.

The vacuum cleaner handle. This one is very blurry, she might have gotten to close or she was moving.

Nativity and her pumpkin from Preschool. Again a bit blurry.

Come Unto Me figurine. Blurry but it still turned out good.

She didn’t want to give up the camera so easily for dinner. She would have kept right on going. She took about 15 or 20 pictures but most of them were blurry. She took photos of Gino and I as well but they were blurry. I’ll have to let her do it again and see what appears…
