School News: New Life Springs From The Egg

When we arrived to class this morning, Mrs. W, handed me a photo packet from the class photos that were taken last month. I had almost forgotten about them and was eager to get home and see what they looked like.

After class we went out to lunch with Daddy downtown. So by the time we got home, Isabel couldn’t quite remember all that happened in school today…

They talked about Easter and the importance of the Resurrection of Jesus.

Isabel told me that she didn’t cut out the white (outer) egg part but only the purple part. I told her that she did a very good job.

The class again played in both the playground and the courtyard. Isabel says she likes playing in the courtyard better then the playground because it’s a lot easier to get away from the boys!

During free-play Isabel says she had a big surprise because the giant plastic egg (that they used in the kitchen) was filled with smaller colored Easter eggs. She showed me the egg at the end of class and it was filled up! She also mentioned that the lizard costume was back for them to play with and Zackary played with it today because Isabel says, “He likes to be a lizard!”

Continuing their discussion of new life and spring, they made tissue paper flowers.

I had Isabel model her’s. So cute!

The special helper today was Olivia. For show and tell Olivia brought a purple unicorn pillow pet. For snack Olivia brought to share fruit snacks and juice.
