Today is Wonderful Wednesday!
I completely forgot about this day!
I have miss placed the classwork (maybe I put it with the day before or the day after… who knows!) and I didn’t get any information from Isabel about her day! Whoops!
A life full of faith, hope, love, and laughter.
All things related to school days.
Today is Wonderful Wednesday!
I completely forgot about this day!

Today is Terrific Tuesday, which means it’s Chapel and library.
Today’s Chapel was lead by Pastor Shawn. Isabel said his message was about Daniel. Pastor Shawn also did a demonstration with 2 balls. Both balls were the same color, size and weight but something was different. When Pastor Shawn went to bounce both balls, 1 bounced really high and the other ball only bounced a little bit. Isabel couldn’t remember anymore about the lesson but I told her she did a great job! Normally she can’t remember much, it must be Pastor Shawn!
With school winding down in the next 2 weeks, I wanted to update the AR reading progress that the kids had a school. Their goal for the year was to read 50,000,000 words and the kids have read 30,775,922 words for the whole year! Way to go!
Classwork…
Yesterday and today was the science lesson, Managing Magnetism, for this week. Isabel said she really enjoyed it.

Day 1: understanding magnetism and it’s many uses.
Day 2: remembering what was discussed yesterday about magnetism.
Day 2: experiment time!
Seeing how magnetism works.
Day 2: what did we learn about magnetism.

It’s Marvelous Monday!
Today marks 2 weeks and 2 days of school left in the school year. Isabel is looking forward to “sleeping in” she says. She officially gets out on the 18th at noon!
Marvelous Monday means All-School Open. A.S.O. is the Monday morning assembly for announcements and other fun stuff for the week.
Isabel got her “Rising Reader2“ award today in A.S.O. Which we thought was a bit odd since it was dated for over a month ago…
This award is given to the students as they do their AR testing.
She didn’t say much about class today. I do know she’s looking forward to tomorrow’s Chapel with Pastor Shawn and going to the zoo next week. I know I’m looking forward to the zoo trip as well, since it’ll be the first time I get to go on a field trip with her and her class. It’s going to be a great day. Now if it just doesn’t rain…
The Bible verse for this week is…
“Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfector of our faith.” – Hebrews 12:2a

Today is Fantastic Friday! Today is a half day for teacher in-service.
Today Isabel’s class had P.E. with the other first grade class AND the second grade class! That’s a lot of kids in the gym! They played “sharks and minnows” and “clean the yard“. They also did a few running laps around the gym.
They had one recess and then school was out at noon.
We also had a fire drill and I got to see Isabel in passing. My class did a great job following in line and keeping still and quite for several minutes during the drill. Most of the kids get a bit scared when the alarm goes off.
My class also had “Dad’s and Doughnuts“. We invited Dad’s to share doughnuts with their kids and then the kids gave their dad a gift that they made. We had a great time and 100% participation! It was so awesome to see Dad’s in the classroom.
Classwork…
Not much work was done today since it was only a half day. There are only 2 weeks and 2 days of school left in our school year for Isabel. I will be completed with my Preschool class on Friday of next week! Looking forward to summer!
Complete the sentences with the best word.
100% on her Bible verse this week.
Today is Thankful Thursday and it’s P.E. with Mrs. S.
Today’s P.E. class was cancelled due to the Preschool/Kindergarten Teddy Bear Picnic in the gym. So the class got an extra recess and extra computer lab time. Isabel liked the extra recess time best.
Classwork…

Someone spelled “sandwitch” wrong?
Back: circle the word that matches the picture.
