The Sixth One

This afternoon Isabel’s sixth tooth became loose and fell out this evening just before bed!

It had been dangling at odd angle’s all day, after she had bumped into me while I was tickling her. She said she finally just gave it a little tug and the tooth came out. Exciting times! As another piece of her childhood gets placed in the past. She’s growing up so fast!

Looking in the mirror at her “new” toothless smile!

She must have a “thing” for loosing teeth on Sunday, since she’s
lost most of them on that day.

Art Gallery

Today Isabel spent over 2 hours outside chalking on the cement. Enjoy!

To start off with (left to right) she drew a house, an angel, a butterfly, and a tree with roots.

Loving me some “rainbow trout”!

At the park with trees and grass. The green bushes have berries she said.

Her funny bunny has such large ears because she traced her hands for the shape!

Laid out in her gallery artwork!

She was enjoying herself so much she didn’t want to really come in after she ran out of room. She told me if it rains, she can go out again and start all over!

Lower half: A house, an angel, a butterfly, a horse, a tree with roots, a rainbow, a rainbow trout, a bunny, a green spider (like the one she saw a Lowe’s), a bunch of purple grapes, a face, a plum, a bunch of green grapes, and a dragonfly!

An angel, a butterfly, a tree with roots, a horse, an apple, a flower, a sun, a tree, a park, a bee, a sunset, a rainbow, a bunny, a rainbow trout, a green spider (like the one she saw at Lowe’s), a face, and purple grapes!

I love it!

Independence Day

Happy 236th Birthday America!

Last year my parents were visiting and we actually spent the holiday with them and went to a party with some of our church family. This year however we spent the day at home, Gino and Isabel went out and got some fireworks to do after dark. Our “show” didn’t go on as long as some of the neighbors who keep it up until 2 a.m.

Our BBQ dinner was a juicy steak and corn on the cob. Yum! For dessert we had a patriotic fruit tart pie with raspberries and blueberries. Yum! Yum!

For less then $100 bucks, Gino got a decent package of fireworks but way to many sparklers! Isabel even got some of her “snaps” that she enjoys so much!

Waiting for our little show to begin.
She did OK until I got up to do sparklers and then she wanted to go in the house.
I even got her to hold a sparkler; for about 10 seconds!

This was like our little finally with lots of smoke!

Sparklers!

After the sun went down it got really cool, so had to get our jackets.

After all the “big” stuff, we just did sparklers and more sparklers.

Happy Independence Day!
