Kindergarten: Day 61

We had a lot to gather this morning as we headed out the door. We even had 2 dozen cookies for the Christmas program tonight as well.

Today was Chapel and Isabel said they practiced for the program tonight and they got to use real microphones! They aren’t allowed to hold the microphone, it will be kept on a stand but they can adjust it to speak into.

The work from today…

The opening activity was a coloring picture of Saint Nicolas.
I love how colorful this is!

Phonics work with the letter “Ff”.

Back: “Ff” writing practice.

Isabel brought home a lot of past work…

She didn’t work on this today but another day, she couldn’t remember.
She did a great job writing the numbers and could recall the times on each clock as I showed them to her.

Back: Number practice with the letter “8“.

This project they did toward the beginning of the year.
The tree is her arm and then sponge painted on leaves.

This was actually from earlier in the year as well.
I took a picture of the whole bulletin board here.

This they did just a few weeks ago.
The turkey is her hand and thumb print. The feather’s and feet  are prints from a very large potato!
