A life full of faith, hope, love, and laughter.

We finished up the “Matchlock Gun” By W.E. Edmonds on Monday but I had Isabel do her “ending after the ending” assignment today.
The “ending after the ending” is something that I borrowed from another site (can’t remember where) and decided to use it to help build her writing since she dislikes to do it so much. After we read a book, she has to write about how she thinks the story might end with lingering questions she might have in mind. Great creative tool!
Not a big book which made it hard for her to think of something to write.
She struggled with this assignment.
Not a lot to say but at least she did something.
Our “Do Together” science assignment was to “interview a dolphin”. Isabel had to be creative being both the interviewer and the dolphin!
She could either write a short story about an interview or write a dialog that tracks the conversation. She choose to do the latter.

This is a very full week of schedules and appearances, we have a lot of places to be this week before our Christmas vacation begins!
Besides all that was mentioned above, we still have school work to do!
Bible verse for this week is…
“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.” – Philippians 4:6
Last week we started a new book, “Matchlock Gun” by W.D.E. on Wednesday (forgot to add it then) but we finished it today.
The bravery of a little boy helps save his mother and little sister while his father is away
during the French and Indian War in 1756.
Not a very big book but we enjoyed reading it.
This week we start this book by E. Forbes.
Our new Friday reading book is this one by B. MacDonald.
Today we headed to our local warehouse store for household necessities.
Leaving our house it was clear, but arriving at the warehouse store, it was foggy. By the time we were heading back home most of the fog had lifted only to leave a bit behind for a gorgeous sunset!
Looking west along the freeway.
So pretty with the fog adding effect.
Coming out of the fog just before getting to town.
Gino finished the Christmas lights on the house and outside yard. Enjoy!

With more plants, he can add more lights than before!

My front door wreath that I picked up at the tree farm when we purchased our tree this year.
(BTW: we added the LED lights – they did NOT come with the wreath)
