Bella Bear’s adventures continues with a huge Thanksgiving FEAST…
They are both eyeing those sweet potatoes.
Maybe Bella has her eyes on the green bean casserole!
She’s going to share with Bella Bear… or maybe not.
A life full of faith, hope, love, and laughter.
All things related to school days.

Bella Bear’s adventures began this evening with a concert in the park…
Bella Bear really enjoys this concert.
She’s Pianist Isabel’s number one fan!
Today is Wednesday, it’s Family Chapel and it’s a half day.
Tomorrow is Thanksgiving!
This year has been a year of thankfulness and my heart is overflowing with gratitude for all that I have learned and continue to learn. God is so good to us, when we follow were He leads us. Even though I make mistakes, He doesn’t leave me or abandon me. I get back up and continue on.
He’s awesome!

There was no classwork today. They had fun!
They did have Family Chapel, where they talked about thankfulness.
Thankfulness turkey’s, each feather is what she’s thankful for.
In the classroom, they had a Thanksgiving feast. They made placemat’s and enjoyed a buffet of turkey, veggies, cheese, fruit cups, cookies and juice boxes. They also made hat’s. Half the class was Native American’s and the other half was Pilgrim’s. Isabel was a Native American.
Native American Isabel.
Her placemat she made.
She’s thankful for: Mommy, her Bible, books and food.
They also did a packet of fun Thanksgiving activities (she didn’t bring it home).
Pilgrim hat alphabetize.
The office staff handed this cute snack sack out to all the kids.
I love how they tied in the snack with a Bible verse!
Bugles: shaped like the cornucopia,
a symbol of our abundance. Jude 1:2Pretzels: arms folded in prayer,
a freedom sought by those who founded our country. Psalm 119:45
Candy Corn: the sacrifice of the Pilgrim’s first winter, food was so scarce they survived on just a few kernels of corn a day!Seeds: promise of future harvest,
only obtained was we plant and nourish with diligence and faith. Lam. 3:22-26M&M’s: memories of those who came before,
lead us to a blessed future and friends that sweeten our lives. 1 Cor. 13:13
Isabel was drawn for Bella Bear!
Each Friday, Teacher Mrs. A,draws two names for the class bear’s. There is one of the boys and one for girls. The students whose name’s are drawn gets to take Bella or Buddy bear home for the weekend. During the weekend, the students can take the bear on adventures and then write a story in the bear’s diary about their time together.
Isabel was 2nd to the last person before the names are added to the draw and the rotation begins again. The boys are already into their second rotation.
What adventures await Bella at our house?
Wait and see…
Today is Tuesday and it’s piano lesson’s after school.
Since Thanksgiving is on Thursday and there is no school, lessons were rescheduled for today.
We arrived a little early and got to hear her lesson before it was over. She is learning how to play Jingle Bells and learning how to move her fingers one at a time and not together on the keys.

Today is Monday and it’s Thanksgiving week!
It’s going to be a short school week with only 2 normal days and 1 half day with a Thanksgiving celebration on Wednesday.
The Bible lesson on the Ten Commandments has been postponed until after the holiday.
The Bible verse for this week is…
“It is good to praise the Lord and make music to Your name, O Most High, to proclaim Your love in the morning and Your faithfulness at night.”
– Psalm 92:1-2
There is no S.a.T. (show and tell) and spelling words this week.

This is last week’s spelling test. You will notice that the very first word is incorrect. When I took the paper back to Teacher Mrs. A, she said she had to give Isabel the grade she got because she (the Teacher) missed it when grading her paper. I told her I didn’t feel right because it’s clearly wrong, she said it’s O.K. she didn’t catch it. I still feel awkward about it but I can’t argue with the teacher.
Today is Thursday, it’s P.E. and Isabel’s first piano lesson!
Before class, she told me, she had been nervous about going to her lesson. Her Teacher Ms. G was so nice, she made all the nervousness go away. She’s already looking forward to next weeks class.
After coming home and finishing her school homework, she sat down at the piano and practiced for almost half an hour before dinner. After dinner she went over her lesson with Daddy, who gave her a few tips and pointers on how to do the lessons correctly.
Piano Teacher Ms. G would like her practice at least 15-20 minutes a day in the beginning and work up to 30 minutes. Classes will be 30 minutes after school each Thursday, unless there is an alternate day due to half day or no school. Next week’s class will be on Tuesday, since Thanksgiving is on Thursday and there is no school.
