Graduation Gifts

So Isabel graduated last week from preschool and we got her a few gifts celebrate.

So proud of our little graduate!

She’s been fascinated with the whole “Tangled” movie since she watched it a few weeks ago. So much so that she actually cut her own hair and has been walking around the house with baby blankets tied to her head as hair (I remember doing that but it wasn’t because of Rapunzel). So I thought enough with the blankets lets get her an actual “Tangled” wig!…

So here is our Rapunzel, with her very own “golden hair”.

Then today she added the dress and the crown because Rapunzel had a dress and a crown in the movie.  To cute!

Adrift In The Living Room

Today Isabel and I headed to the beach. She swam. While I dipped my toes in the water while basking in the warm sun. Enjoy!

Isabel out in the water (purple blanket) swimming with her crab friend.

Holding her breath underwater.

Having fun at the beach with Isabel’s crab friend.

I finally got in the water because it was getting HOT! We were adrift with her crabby friend until the sun went behind the clouds.

Mother’s Day Gift

Today I celebrate my 6th year as a mom to my special daughter. I finally got to open my gift from Isabel…

She had given it to me on Monday after school and she made me wait the whole week to open it. However, I didn’t think Isabel was going to be able to wait for Sunday to arrive! Every morning she would ask me if the next day was Sunday, so that I could open my gift.

Lots of love for Mommy today!

My gift; a stepping stone inlaid with precious jewels!

Orange Strawberry Juice

Last year Gino bought himself a BlendTec blender for Father’s Day and his birthday rolled in one. Since then he’s been making smoothies and shakes for special treats.

This morning however I wanted to try something different, our morning started with a orange strawberry whole juice.

Everything thrown in… orange juice (since I didn’t have oranges), strawberries, and ice… even the leaves.

Whirling in the blender. It was a bit tart, next time I’ll add a bit of banana.

After the juice, I later found Isabel reading in the guest room with Daisy.

Snow-Fun

Last night the snow started falling again and this morning we woke up to a world of white. Isabel started asking me as soon she was finished up with breakfast if she could go outside and play. Enjoy!

All layered up and ready to go!

This is not a snowman, she says but a snow pie. Piled high.

I made Daisy come outside as well and even put her shoes on to keep the cold off her paws. She’s not looking to happy with me about now… BIG BABY!

After piling her pie higher then before; she sat on it.

Daisy looking a bit happier to be outside (even with her shoes on!) BUT only after I said the “WORD”… TREAT!

We found her sand shovel and she started digging. She said she was digging the snow for Daisy to jump in.

After being out in the cold, it was time for “snowman soup” (hot chocolate) and lunch…

… she got a little crazy with the candy cane that I gave her! It was everywhere!
