Today is Terrific Tuesday, which means it’s Chapel and library.
Today’s Chapel was lead by the school’s Superintendent Mr. J. Isabel said his message was about faith. Mr. J “interviewed” his son and new daughter-in-law, who are now missionaries to Jordan.
Isabel also told me about an award she gave to her best friend, Ms. M before Chapel today! (more about that later…)
Isabel said that the class is finished with their required math for the year. I don’t know if Teacher Mrs. B will just review what they have learned or just continue on or just not do math.
She finished her library book during extended school while I was at a meeting. She got a thicker M. T. H. book and she said she enjoyed it.
Classwork…
Front: write “go” or “went” to complete the sentences.
Back: working with contractions and apostrophes.
(This is something we need to work on.)
Front: working with spelling words and the sounds they make.
Back: write the missing letters for the spelling words.
Grade the math work.
Social Studies: learning about people who volunteer in the community.
